Child's Play Charity Dinner Auction

Penny Arcade is hosting a swanky fundraising dinner event for Child's Play and you're invited!

Since 2003, geeks and gamers worldwide have banded together through Child's Play and raised over five million dollars in donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children's hospitals across North America and the world. Our annual fundraising dinner auction is the headline event for the drive; please come out for a delightful evening and support the gamers' charity!

The evening begins Tuesday, December 8 at 6:30pm, on the 4th Floor of the Washington Convention Center (Skybridge). Meet Gabe and Tycho from Penny Arcade, browse and bid on silent auction items while you enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, and good company. Dinner and the live auction will commence at 7:30pm.

Ticket Price:

    $135 per person ($65 of which is tax-deductible). By attending the event, you are in effect having a terrific dinner as well as making a $65 contribution to Child's Play!

    Corporate table sponsorships (seats 10) are also available for $5,000. Table sponsors receive special mentions in the official dinner program. Sponsors will be contacted after purchasing tickets for meal options, table seating and program discussion.

Attire:

    Formal/Semi-Formal, no jeans please. Tuxedos and gowns are encouraged! Show off a little for your friends and peers.

Dinner Menu Choices:

    Grilled Beef Tenderloin
    Grilled tenderloin of grain-fed beef with a red wine sauce.

    or

    Pumpkin Ravioli
    With an apple cider butter sauce (Vegetarian).

    or

    Skagit Valley Chicken
    Stuffed with forest mushroom ragout & goat cheese & accompanied with pan seared Yukon Gold potatoes & thyme essence.

    and

    Arugula Salad
    Baby arugula & curly endive, garnished with poached pear & dried cranberries.
    Served with a roasted shallot vinaigrette.

    and

    Malted Chocolate Meringue with Chocolate Streusel

    Assorted dinner rolls, wine, freshly brewed coffee and assorted teas are served with your meal.

Bidding:

    The silent auction will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The live auction will run from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. All bids are binding. Please bring form of payment to the event (cash, check, credit card) as all bids are to be settled that evening.

    $65 of your ticket price is tax-deductible (ticket price minus cost of dinner).
