Event Description

Winnipeg video game news and talk radio show The Bonus Stage (92.9 KICK-FM) has teamed up with video game art & lit zine Heart Container (heartcontainer.ca) to create a 24 hour gaming marathon raising funds for Child’s Play Charity.

Jeff Ward, Tom Higgins, and Albertine Watson will be playing video games according to a set schedule for 24 hours, only taking bathroom and snack breaks.

Part of the aim of the event is to bring local media attention to our initiative to generate even more donations to Child’s Play via a donate button on the Heart Container website.
