We don't know where we would be without the ongoing and incredibly generous support of Child's

Play.

Technology is such an important medium for so many of our patients. It can take them to a world away

from the hospital, and immerse them in games and fun. It can relieve stress and boredom and it can

also connect them to their world outside of hospital.

With your support, we are able to provide the children and young people whom we treat with a means

to be in touch with friends and family in the community.

Thanks to the deeply generous support of Child's Play we are able to upgrade consoles and games

consistently so that the kids can have state-of-the-art equipment. Your support also means that we

can keep our fleet of iPads up-to-date and loaded with the latest apps.

The technology which we have been able to purchase thanks to Child’s Play is integral to the work of

Child Life Therapy and enables us to offer education and support to children in preparation for, during,

and following medical procedures. This is key in reducing hospital related anxiety, promoting self-

esteem and self-expression for the children we treat.
