Position Summary

As Child's Play's Program Coordinator, you'll be an essential member of our team empowered to handle a wide range of responsibilities, so your initiative, clear communication, outstanding ability to move multiple projects forward at once, and well-honed skills in planning, prioritization, and organization will set you up for success. Your day-to-day will be a mix of program administration (grant processing, in-kind donation handling, CP merch store administration, partner hospital management, etc.), office logistics (emails and physical mail, meeting logistics, invoicing, warehouse, etc.), and marketing planning and execution (live conventions, streaming events, fundraising support, website updates, etc.). Most importantly, you'll leave work each day knowing you had a tangible impact on kids' lives.

  • Full-Time Hourly Position (35-40 hours per week)

What You'll Do

Program Administration:

  • Manage CP partner hospital Amazon wish list program
  • Oversee volunteer coordination, including onboarding and tracking
  • Process in-kind gifts
  • Coordinate CP store merchandise (ordering, shipping, acquiring quotes, design liaison, year-end inventory counts, etc.)
  • Generate program metrics & impact reports

Marketing/Fundraising Planning & Execution:

  • Assist fundraising and outreach events
  • Main contact for most streaming events
  • Coordinate show & conventions presence
  • Website management and content creation

Office Logistics:

  • Emails, physical mail, and shipping & warehouse administration
  • Invoicing, check deposits, bank runs, gift tracking, and generating receipts/letters
  • Staff and board communication and general administrative support
  • Data entry, document editing, and report generation and revision

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Google, MS Office, and other database software platforms, and comfort learning new technical systems, as needed
  • Experience with Adobe Professional and other graphic programs is a plus
  • Knowledge of and a passion for video game culture is a plus

Physical Demands

  • The primary work location is in the CP office located in Redmond, WA, with up to 5% time required to work offsite
  • This position requires long periods of time at a desk on a computer
  • May require time outside of normal business hours for events (dates discussed in advance), and up to 5% travel for events and/or hospital visits
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. events and warehouse may require standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, ability to drive to different event locations and navigate to different areas

Supervisory Responsibilities & Reporting

  • This position has no supervisory responsibility
  • This position reports to the Executive Director and works collaboratively to support other team members
