New Game Technology Specialist Positions
Child's Play is excited to announce that we approved 12 grants this year for Pediatric Game Technology Specialist (PGTS) positions. This brings our total number of Child's Play funded PGTS positions to 30! These positions are vital in helping hospitals increase the number of games, types of games, and tech solutions they can deploy in the facility.
The following eight hospitals are receiving funding for their first PGTS position:
Dell Children's Medical Center
Riley Children's
Montana Children's
Lurie Children's
INTEGRIS Children's, Baptist Medical Center
Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital
University of Maryland Medical System
Joe DiMaggio Children's
The following two hospitals are growing their team with additional PGTS positions:
Methodist Children's San Antonio
Boston Children's
Lastly, the following facilities applied to extend their grant-funded program one more year. We have learned one year is not enough time for most hospitals to get up and running with a game tech program.
Cleveland Clinic
Golisano South West Florida
